A Brief Professional Biography

Hi my name is Herb Techmer and I am the owner of Techmer Landscaping. I have over 15 years of professional hands on experience in the fields of landscape horticulture, landscape design, and nursery production.

I was raised in upstate New York where I worked for my father’s landscaping and retail nursery business for many years. My father started his business 30 years ago when he immigrated to America from Germany. Horst Techmer (my father) learned the art and science of horticulture from master horticulturists in Germany. My father taught me a lot while working for the family business.

Later on I attended The Ohio State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Horticulture.

I am now working as an independent contractor servicing the community by creating unique outdoor living spaces for my clients.
